Student immersion team training: How can we get closer to our students?

We need to ’re-think’ how we see students across the full student lifecycle, from marketing and recruitment to course coordination, management and learning delivery. We want to use our existing student insights to build capacity across our staff to be student- and customer-led in their daily work and strategic planning.

    • Train staff in understanding and delivering training and communications around our student experience (student empathy, student journey & personas)

    • Support a campus-wide initiative to ’re-think’ how we see students – building attitudinal and behavioural lenses onto traditional segmentation (nationality, course, risk profiles etc.)

  • 4-week staff training program, including:

    • Review of existing student experience insights

    • Weekly check-in workshops

    • Pre-workshop tasks

    • Supported delivery of wider staff workshops

  • Trained staff are able to:

    • Deliver interactive professional development and communications relating to student experience

    • Select from various resources (video, presentations, visuals) to plan future college professional development and communications

    • Advise peers in different approaches to ’re-think’ student experience and journeys

  • 4-6 weeks
